Introduction

NS5311 is a BT656 to LVDS converter which is compatible with ITU-R BT.656 and OpenLDI specifications. A flexible 8-bit pixel interface is employed to receive video data by using embedded SAV/EAV synchronizers. NS5311 also integrates a Color Space Converter (CSC) to convert YUV 4:2:2 to RGB 4:4:4 pixel formats.

NS5311 supports single and dual bus LVDS panels with serial data rate up to 567Mbps and video formats up to 1280x720@60Hz in single bus mode and 1600x1200@60Hz in dual bus mode.

NS5311 also integrates an on-chip micro-controller to support commonly used I2C and UART peripheral interfaces.
