Introduction

NS5320 is a bi-directional signal transfer controller which supports HDMI ARC/CEC/DDC features and two-way passthrough of multiple communication protocols. NS5320 provides long distance extension capability for various RS232, RS485 devices, infra-red (IR) remote control devices and standard PS2 devices. Plenty of GPIO pins are available to support a large number of devices.

NS5320 supports Forward Error Correction (FEC) on serial link for increased reliability.

An on-chip micro-controller is also provided to support commonly used I2C and UART peripheral interfaces.
